About
to the studio.

My journey started long before I became a World Champion. At six years old, I began training in gymnastics, where I developed discipline, body awareness, and a love for movement. At eleven, I walked into a weightlifting gym for the first time — by chance. My brother brought me along, and everything changed.
Within just a few years, I became one of the youngest elite athletes in my country. I earned the title of Master of Sport, then International Master of Sport, winning multiple European championships before turning seventeen. By the age of nineteen, I had already become a World Champion and was awarded the highest athletic title in my country for excellence in sport.
In 2006, I won the Junior World Championships in the 58 kg category with a total of 231 kg. That same year, I took silver at the World Weightlifting Championships in the -58 kg category, snatching 108 kg and clean and jerking 125 kg for a total of 233 kg. In 2007, I earned another World Championships silver medal, this time in the 63 kg category, with a total of 250 kg.
I competed at my first Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. Then in 2011, at the World Championships in Paris, everything came together — I won gold in the 63 kg category, setting a world record in the snatch at 117 kg and lifting 138 kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 255 kg. That year, World Weightlifting magazine named me “Best Weightlifter of 2011” — the first time in the award’s 28-year history that the honor went to a Russian athlete.
Over the following years, I represented my country on the world’s biggest stages, winning international medals and competing in two Olympic Games. On March 20, 2012, I was officially named “Best Weightlifter of 2011.” Later that year, I competed at the London 2012 Olympics and was awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” for my significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sport.
But the greatest challenge of my life came just two months before my second Olympics.
I suffered a severe knee injury — a torn ligament, a damaged meniscus, and significant cartilage damage. Despite the injury, I chose to compete and won an Olympic silver medal while performing on one leg.
"Most people saw the medal. Few saw the pain behind it."
After the Olympics, I underwent multiple knee surgeries. Each operation brought new setbacks instead of answers. Specialists told me that my athletic career was over and that I would never return to elite competition. I refused to accept that.
Instead of giving up, I dedicated myself to understanding how the body truly heals. I studied movement, rehabilitation, biomechanics, and recovery — not just as an athlete, but as someone fighting to regain her own life. Through years of research, testing, and rebuilding my body, I developed what is now known as the Smart Workout Method.
This method didn’t just help me recover. It completely changed the way I understand movement.
Today, my mission is simple: to help people eliminate pain, restore movement, and avoid unnecessary surgeries whenever possible. And for those who have already undergone surgery, I help them regain confidence, strength, and the freedom to move again.
Because I know exactly what it feels like to believe your body has failed you. And I also know what it takes to get it back.
